Christie Xu

Ziting Xu is a Chinese-born visual artist based in Toronto. Her work involves analog and digital photography, video and illustration. She is interested in the specificity of nostalgia emotions. She attempts to reconcile the growing division of cultural identity between immigrants and their hometowns during the pandemic, through reorganization of the photo archives, as well as recreating the fragmented memory of her past.
