Childhood trauma can have a profound and lasting impact on an individual’s mental health, and unfortunately, it is a common experience for many people. However, despite its prevalence, the subject is often stigmatized and not fully understood by society. This lack of understanding can make it difficult for those who have experienced trauma to seek help and feel validated in their experiences.
My thesis explores the deeply personal subject of my mental health journey and the healing process of working through childhood trauma. This topic is not only meaningful to me, but also important in today’s society as mental health issues continue to be stigmatized and underrepresented.
In my thesis, I aim to explore the ups and downs of the healing journey from childhood trauma. Through my personal story and artwork, I aim to shed light on the complex and often confusing process of healing from trauma. By sharing my experiences, I hope to provide a space for others who have gone through similar experiences to feel seen, heard, and understood.
