Have you seen my artist statement? I know it’s around here somewhere. It was about THIS tall and T H A T wide and had the words “TRUST THE PROCESS” scribbled in red pen on the back of it. Ah, don’t bother wondering where it can be. After all, it was just an afterthought anyway. And what use is there in chasing after an afterthought? Especially if it doesn’t have legs. I would much rather we explore something inspiring together, like our creativity! How exciting! I love wandering about my dreams and seeing all sorts of funny and novel things. If only you could shrink to the size of an itty-bitty baby idea. You could look inside my subconscious and tell me what might be hiding there! Perhaps you might even find that artist statement I had lost…

Victor Rusu is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily within the Visual Arts. His conceptual storytelling is often accompanied by his desire to explore the boundaries of varying mediums. Aside from creating artwork, Victor spends his time studying philosophy, writing and collaborating with fellow peers in fashion or photography-related projects.
